As amazing as 2008 was, qualifying for a record on our first-ever run, no one thought 2009 could compare.  Actually, the decision to return to the salt wasn't even made until mid-June.  Modifications to the Fast Four included custom CP pistons, new headers, side draft Mikuni HSR carburetors, and a thorough sorting of the chassis to eliminate the handling issues experienced in 2008.

To say that Speedweek 2009 exceeded our expectations would be an understatement of enormous proportions.  When the week ended, the Montana Dodge Boys had set THREE new world land speed records and four different drivers got a turn behind the wheel.

Pete 'Pedro' Hendrickson- V4F/STR
115.681 MPH *RECORD*

Chris King- V4F/GR
116.439 MPH *RECORD*

Tony Smith- V4F/FR
117. 597 MPH *RECORD*

Edwin Engler- V4F/GMR 119.300 MPH

Paperwork sucks... unless it's Dan Warner signing off on three world records!
